César Maxit is an artist, graphic designer, community organizer and nonviolence trainer based in Washington, D.C. He works for a variety of organizations, including Ruckus Society.
Lily got to meet him and learn some valuable skills back in March when she went to Greenpeace's Action Camp, a weeklong camping trip in the California wilderness that trains activists in how to use their individual talents in protest.
Well known for his activist art, Maxit was born in Argentina but his family escaped to the United States in 1982 to flee the Dirty War.
