Boycotting

is great. Of course I don't believe that boycotting is the be-all-end-all to escape from the horrible, demoralizing commercialism and consumerism of everyday America, but it's a good start. I now boycott these corporations, and will keep looking for more corporations from which to withdraw my monetary support.

Walmart

“If we work together, we'll lower the cost of living for everyone…we'll give the world an opportunity to see what it's like to save and have a better life."
Taken from Walmart's facebook page.

What bullshit! Have Walmart bigwigs been to one of their stores? They sell cheap, Chinese made crap. It's cheap because it's ill-gotten, procured from Chinese sweatshops. Only managers get to work full time and receive benefits; everybody else has to work part time, no matter how long they've been loyal to the company. The customers at Walmart are all lower class folks -like myself and my family- who shop there simply because it's cheap, not because there's any expectation of quality. Walmart destroys local economies by putting all the Mom 'n' Pops out of business.

Did I mention that 5 of the 10 richest people in the world are Walton siblings?

Fuck Walmart.

Chic-fil-A

Goes without saying!

Here are some others I boycott, but I won't go into the reasons right now. You can google 'em!
